it's kinda frustating to be in the chat room, wanna look at the forum and have to open another window.I always end up closing one of th windows.

I have to say that, personally, I'd much rather have two windows open. Anyway, the way the chatroom works it must remain open to continually refresh. If you're that dead set on it, build your own frame set with the forum in one side and the chatroom in the other. If you don't know what I'm talking about sorry - don't know what level of technical expertise you have.
