From the text I get the impression the Bela Monte project has gone so far - the damage is done.
As we know, the Rio Xingu is one of the most special / that is it has more unique species of fishes than any other Amazon river, for us the damage is done indeed.
Nice to know other plans, just as dreadfull, will not be executed, but the worst one is done.
