What is the easiest way to idenitify L201 vs L102??

Yes, black margin on dorsal and caudal fins on L102 only (but see my next paragraph). Also spots are smaller and closer together on face than on body of L102. L201 has more homogeneous size and spacing to its spots over the whole body.
Keep in mind there are now three look-alikes in this group: L102 has now been concluded to be a different fish from (but our Cat-eLog has not been changed to reflect this new conclusion), and there is a third look-alike: .
So be careful if you buy from different sources that you don't mix types.

The black in all its fins is very striking in L102 and is missing in L201.
L102 has small spots on his face and bigger spots on his back and fins while L201 has roughly homogeneous spots. Hope this will help. Cheers Johannes
