Pleco teeth

When ID'ing plecos, some of you often seem to look at the teeth to help determining which genus they belong in. Could someone point me to a guide to these different kinds of teeth ?

Karsten,
If you do not have it, you need Burgess' "An Atlas of Freshwater and Marine Catfishes" (TFH, 1989). It is getting quite out of date, but is still the best catfish book around by a long shot. I suspect that the Seidel and Evers Wels Atlas series will eventually overcome it, but that will not be for a long time.

I do own a copy of Burgess. I was worried that the fact that it is somewhat outdated might also influence its validity for determining which genus a certain pleco belongs to.

Sounds like a good article. Actually I don't think there is one place where a good selection can be found, just bits and pieces here and there.

You could however check the image captions list for all images captions "close-up of mouth"...
