26th May 2019 - Forum upgrade

Morning All,

The forum will be offline from 0915 GMT this morning for a long overdue upgrade. We're moving from v.3.2.4 to 3.2.7 which also sees a number of bug fixes, minor feature improvements and better support / interaction with the outside online world.

Well, three and a bit hours later we're back up and running. There are a bunch of modifications (the Planet specific stuff) and some layout things to fix, but, it's mostly done!

Will post again with progress update.

PS Did you know we have over 40,000 image attachments in the forum now! I just removed the 950 or so that had become orphaned because the topic or PM they belong to is no more.

That's it all upgraded and back to full functionality!

Hi Jools,

I just added a new fish to my cats, and got the below error in the background although it seems to have assigned the fish to me OK.

Using my android mobile and chrome browser.

FYI, CLOG tags don't appear to work in forum posts. E.g.,

Corydoras eques

(this name is surrounded by [ clog][/clog] tags).

Hi Marc,

This problem is the same as the one reported below - will track the fix there if that's OK. Least I can do given what you're dealing with on the fish front.

I now know why the clog tags don't work - they won't until the new version of the forum software is released. More for more sanity than anything else, bug tracker here.

Okay this is weird: I just replied (here) to a post about corys and I used the CLOG tags for

Corydoras paleatus

... AND THEY WORK in that post! But the same CLOG tags don't work in this post here or in any other posts I've made in the last day or two (and more) which have CLOG tags in them!

• (FYI, I have the clog tags around the name
  Corydoras paleatus
  both times I used it here... and yet they aren't working here).

How weird is that??? God bless computer programmers! They have to fix the mysteries of the universe!
