I suspect it is a Leporacanthicus type, although the spotting pattern is unusual. I know that from time to time people find very uniquely spotted fish, or perhaps this has been bred for color. But perhaps it's my imagination, but I see hints of L. triactis in it also. If not a natural form, perhaps a hybrid?

From the website, I cannot tell if they are saying they think this is merely a beautiful wild caught fish, or if they think it is a naturally formed hybrid between two species in the wild (one being

? Both of these L-numbers have photos here of juveniles with larger spots, and both originate in approximately the same area as L. triactis.

is the closest. They're so variable quite likely pretty ones turn up and are filtered out for the high-end markets.
