Aligator Plec

Post by Perky »

I am buying an Aligator Plec soon. Here is some info from the person I am buying it from:
It is closely related to royal plec, it's about 8 inches long, in excellent health. This plec has large scales and a yellow streak in tail fin. It is very unusual.
I am interested in buying but want to know more. Can you please help me.

Here are some pics of the fish. Husbandry information is similar to that of a gibbi (which can be found here).
A word of warning, though. They can grow fairly large (about a foot).

I don't think that is the one. He has had it for 4 years and is 8 inches.
