I am about to get 8 one inch cw111 next Wednesday as partial payment for a number of L173s going out. I need to get a new tank up and ready for the 111s and I am unsure of the proper temperature range for them. This information is not available here and, when I do a search, I get conflicting info. Some sites say they are OK at up to 82F (27.77C).
However, some sites say not to keep them that warm. So I could use a bit of input on what temp range is best to keep them at. The will be going into a dedicated species tank.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated- TY in advance if you can help.

@corywally is breeding these and there is an article on them in a recent CSG journal. It doesn't say anything about temperature but does state:
They apparently live alongside and , see https://www.scielo.br/j/ni/a/gtyPtXN33g ... pfiJ58pbKE# - which is an excellent paper but is silent on water parameters. Lots of info on location that may aid further research.
In short, they live in warmer flowing clearwaters but seem fine a few degrees lower. If keeping them warm, make sure DO is high. As a zebra pleco expert you will know how to do this.
Cheers,

From second hand experience, they are OK warmer but keeping a traditional cory tank that warm is risky. I have a 24x12x15" tank set-up for them at 78F with a hang-on filter and air driven sponge. I missed a recent chance to acquire them, so the tank is home to some I am growing out.My typical cory tanks are around 80 litres in capacity, filtered using Hamburg Matten style air-driven filtration, which provides some flow in the tank (less risky than wave makers which can trap smaller fish). I have always advocated as much flow as possible with Corydoradinae who will often spawn where the current is greatest. My three Vulcans enjoyed their new surroundings, with daily feeds of newly hatched Artemia nauplii, microworm and proprietary granulated fish foods. The usual maintenance regime is weekly 50% water changes using rainwater warmed in the fish house to avoid a cold-water shock. Consequently, my tank water is naturally low in dissolved solids, so I steady the carbonates with a few chalk stones behind the filter sponge.

Re: Need some advice on Hoplisoma cw111
I was very successful breeding CW111 this past season. My tank is inside, unheated, and stays between 68 to 72 unless I'm not home and my wife cranks the heat up to 76...lol. I used filtered tap water for water changes, 30-40% in the winter would drop the tank down to 65-66.
I believe some of the waterways they are found in hits 85-90. During a heatwave a few years ago, their tank was in the garage and the water hit 95. Didn't appear to have any negative effects from that, but they got relocated to my living room very quickly.
