Post by ikmoi »

Hello,

I have 2 nice looking catfish
http://www.aquaforum.nl/gallery/upload/grote.jpg
http://www.aquaforum.nl/gallery/upload/kleine.jpg

Length of those fish are prox. 8 cm and 11 cm.
But what kind they are ?? I don't know, and my friends of the dutch aquaboard told me that people on this board sure know the name !
So please help me and give me the name....

tnx.

I would say you have Synodontis.Nigrita.

i have lots of these. these look to me like small synodontis robbianus. brown synos, spotted, with that plated bit behind the gills and going to the back of the head. i would more than likely say it is a robbianus.

but then again on closer inspection and a little bit of tweaking with your foto on fotoshop, it might just be a nigrita.
