Help ID my catfish please

Post by chevyII »

Just got a 135 gallon tank as a gift. It came with this catfish and the previous owner couldn't tell me much about it. Anyone have any ideas? He was very active when I first got him but has since slowed down. Not sure if he is eating enough and not really sure what I should be feeding him. He is about 12" long with the fins, Thanks I did look in the species section but I could of been there for days looking for it.

thanks,

That's S. notatus all right, and a rather overfed one to boot.
