from time to time this name appears on the stocklists from singapore, i just wonder if this is a new one? since i only can find information on Chaca chaca and Chaca bankanensis.

Chaca burmensis (note the correct name) was described in 1988 by Carl Ferraris and Barbara Brown. This is the Chaca from Myanmar (most of the fish collected for the trade come from the Bago area), and it has recently become more widely available in the trade.
