bristlenose placos

i was told that the bristlenose placos are one of the very efficent placos at there job

is that true that some placos are beter than others????

There are hundreds of types of plecos, literally, so if you mean eating algae as their "job" then yes, certainly some are better than others. Some types of plecos are almost strictly meat eaters, others need large amounts of wood in their diet.
