Until I get some good pics of madtoms, my CoTM piece on madtoms will have to wait...
Just like to get more info while I'm waiting. Anyone of you not from North America ever seen a madtom for sale at your LFS? Just need to know if they are (or have been) available elsewhere.
Also, more husbandry info would be nice. I am specifically writing about the brindled madtom (<i>N. miurus</i>), but I guess most other species will do, given their similar requirements.

They have been available once or twice over here in the UK (usually the Tadpole Madtom), but not since the stricter regulations regarding non-native temperate fish came into force. The number of hoops that have to be jumped through to actually get a license for US fish are intended to make it not worth the while actually trying.
