Ok on the fish for sale there was a sale of a whopping 32 zebra plecs and f1's and having had a zebra I know the look of them but what does an f1 look look like any hints as to how to find out? thanks

F1's are regular Zebra's that have been tank bread with wild parents. Now if the F1's breed then the fry would be F2's....and so on.

f1's (first generation) look the same as the wild adults

f0 = wild caught fish
f1 = spawn of wild caught fish
f2 = grandkids of wild caught fish
and so on....

If the fish are f1's that means that they weren't wild caught, but their parents were. They won't look any different from wild caught ones, but most people find that fish that were born and raised in an aquarium are better suited to aquarium life and are easier to breed, too.
