Is it normal

Post by jazz »

Is it normal for them to hunt in packs - I only ask because these two worked together to hunt the other fish, one almost arched its body around the front of the fish then the other would hit it very hard in the belly...it was majorly grim I can tell you.
What about teeth, do they have any..??
My oh my I think it's gonna eat me.

Yes, pack hunting has been observed in Clarias gariepinus, and detailed scientific studies have been written about it. I had a spare copy of one such study, but I gave it to Jason (jscoggs27).

Jason,

Be my guest. It's yours to keep or to do anything you want with it.
