Both these species has been here in forum proofed to be undescribed species. Somehow i`ve been beginnig to doubt this too cause this growing hybridzation. Main point is i haven`t seen them labelled in any wholesaler list as wild caught species only tank bred. There was earlier a good topic about "white polli" but why it doesn´t show regulary on Ãmports from the lake? Dwarf petricola is the same thing. All the other Synos appear on import lists but these seem to be lacking. Is this a big hoax where we all have fallen?

I've seen -with my own eyes, not second hand!- adult S "petricola dwarfs" coming out of a "mixed Syno-box" straight from Zambia that contained baby dhonti, many true polli, and even some of the "wide mouth petricola"things among other things....
Right now there's another shipment coming in (haven't seen the pics yet) that's supposed to include wildcaught adult "polli White".
So to answer your question: unless there's a bunch of Czechs wielding their hormone-syringes at a lakeside location; it's pretty sure that these are actually true species.
