Hi! Would anyone be able to direct me to a picture or pictures where I may see the difference btw. long fin and normal albino bushynose plec? Have searched as best I can with no luck.... :cry:

I don't think there's any particular difference between the long-finned and "normal" version of the two, other than the genetic "defect" of long fins in one of them. Lots of fish have a gene for long fins, so breeding sufficient combinations will bring it out eventually. Just like albino and other "defects" that people breed in some forms of aquarium fish.

I personally don't like albinos or long fins, I like the fish to look like it does in nature. But that is my personal opinion, and if you like long-finned albino, that's your choice, and there's nothing wrong in that. If everyone thought and felt the same thing about all matters, the world would be a rather boring place...

So, conclusion: You choose whichever you like, long or short fins, albino or coloured. They do the same job, and behave the same, regardless.
