Casa Maria, Venezuela

Post by Shane »

My friend Norbert has a new web page and I wanted to post a link. Norbert and I did a lot of collecting together in Venezuela (see Venezuela Diaries) and Jools and I stayed with Norbert for part of Expedicion Corroncho in 2002. Ingo Seidel has also visited to collect with Norbert. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Norbert and Casa Maria if you are thinking about a trip to Venezuela.

If you look through the photos there is one of Norbert's tropical pond. One of the coolest pond/aquariums I have ever seen. Casa Maria also has a guest fishroom for folks to place their collections during their stay.

Yeah, and Norbert is smart enough NOT to keep tankbusting pimelodids in his huge ponds. :-)
