I'm in the LA area for about a week for business reasons and it'd be great to see any stores that people recommend for whatever reason, oddballs, plecos, cichlids, etc.

I'm in the LA area for about a week for business reasons and it'd be great to see any stores that people recommend for whatever reason, oddballs, plecos, cichlids, etc.

These are the ones I frequent
1. The Aquarium, on Sepulveda Blvd...lots of fish, somewhat pricey...you do get some nice finds though. Large CA/SA cichlids are something of a speciality here.
2. Allan's Aquarium, on Lincoln Blvd...a "discount" pet store...not much to look at, but reasonable prices, and they get oddballs
