Hemisilurus mekongensis

Very good looking catfish.Unfortunately it grows to a size of 80cm.If i´d see these in LFS it could very hard to resist not to buy.
Well i wish i was a catfish
swimmin in a oh, deep, blue sea (Muddy Waters, Catfish blues)

They're available within a 25 minute walk of where I'm sat here at home. BAS got a few in, interesting looking beasties.

They may not be easy to feed.

Someone once told me that it was virtually impossible to keep Ceratoglanis alive. I suspect it's not that easy with Hemisilurus (which is the sister group to Ceratoglanis) either.

I examined the stomach of either Ceratoglanis or Hemisilurus once and it was full of little bivalves (Pisidium, I think).
