Ancistrus

Post by Jimjambo »

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what Ancistrus I may have.
I don't have any pics. as yet.
The fish is about 3" long and has a pinkish/yellow colour with black eyes. It has regular black spots along it's body and a yellow/orange tinge at the end of it's fins.
It so far hides, sucking upside down on some wood.
Thanks,

James

Sounds like to me, but without a picture, it's a bit hard to confirm that.

Hi,

I have looked through the thumbnails and sp(4) was about the closest to it. Although none appeared to have the orangey tips on the fins, nor did they have the black spots. I have a picture but it's not the best..... I could show you but don't have any internet sites to put it on, sorry. Could I send it to anyone to put up for me?

Thanks,

J.

That's not an Ancistrus, it's L163.

Thanks Silurus.

Does anyone have an L163 or have any other details on it. They appear to be little known about. Any info. would be good.
Thanks,

James
