Welcome to the planet catfish forums Sue. What are the other species of catfish you keep. Most of us are very interested in anything out of he ordinary, so exotic/rare fish are always well respected.

Having said that, we are excited to here about any catfish that people keep and their unique and interesting stories about keeping and breeding them.

Asking questions with an open mind and the proper background should serve you well. Please read the stickies and again, welcome!!

i actually had'nt heard of the south michigan aquarium society, until now. i will have to check into that.
the cats i have now are a synodontis eupterus,a multipunctatus,a decorus, and an oddball i bought that was in with the lacecats that i can't identify. i also have a royal pleco, 4 pictus cats,a clown pleco,a bumble bee cat,a strped raphael, and a fish i bought as a blotched catfish, i can't find much info on him i only know he is a clarias stappersi, all in various tanks all over my house.
thank you all for the warm welcome
