After looking at the erethistids recently collected from northern India, I think I have a handle on most of the names. Consequently there are some changes to be made in the Cat-eLog:
The first three pictures of Erethistidae sp. (1) are Erethistes pussillus, the last one is H. hara
Dinyar's and Rusty's picture of Hara hara appear to be Erethistes pussillus
Laguvia ribeiroi is an undescribed genus and species.
Pseudolaguvia sp. (1) is Pseudolaguvia ribeiroi

hi all
the photos for the erethistidae species seem to me to be in the forthcase
an erethistes as it appears to be identicle to ones i have which do have divergent
pectoral spines. the third photo is of the same fish that i had shown on erethistidae i.d.
which is a hara.. the first and second ones appear to also be hara..
