Italics

Use of italics is recommended and you can use bold if you really want to (but it might look a bit silly).

If so then use HTML (NOT BB code) tags in the submission.

Example:

Easily distinguished from other auchenipterids by its broad head and short body. Distinguished from the jaguar cat, < i >Liosomadoras oncinus< / i >, by its duller coloration.

(if you remove the spaces) will render as:

Easily distinguished from other auchenipterids by its broad head and short body. Distinguished from the jaguar cat, Liosomadoras oncinus, by its duller coloration.

If you want to use bold, substitute b for i but I would recommend using CAPS instead.
