albino laying eggs

Post by Candice »

Will corys lay eggs even if there's no male present in the tank? I have, what I always thought, was 3 females in my tank. I'm noticing tons of eggs lately and am wondering if they will drop eggs even without males around?

Any snails around? If not, maybe one of your females is a male. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but females usually reabsorb eggs they don't lay.

These are definitely cory eggs as I saw one of them laying again last night. I guess I'm not good at sexing corys and one must be a male. :D

I'll see if they hatch or not.

Thx

Congrats! Let us know how they do. I have some Aeneus Cories and it can be difficult with them to tell until you watch them breed.
