Soccer fans? UEFA Cup
Hey!
Just want to express my happyness about our 0:0 draw at Sevilla FC tonight which is viewed as an upset or a mere sensation as we (Mainz 05) were a huge underdog with no name in international (or national) soccer!
It wasnt televised but it sounded like the spaniards shooting at our goal every 2 minutes. Listening to spanish internet radio is really getting your adrenaline up I noticed...even without understanding a word...except pelota and defencia ;)
Cheers from Mainz

you have got to remember that Sevilla sold two of their best player's this summer in Baptista and Sergio Ramos, so that give's you a beter chance
, my team Liverpool where playing at Real Betis on tuesday and we got a 2-1 win which is pretty good although before someone say's it we where lucky to hold on for a win.

I'd just like to say that me mum is a new footie fan. At almost 70 years of age, I can't keep up with her. I have no idea who she likes or doesn't. She's a stats machine with many sports since she's retired from the working world. It's far from the only thing in her life, but for entertainment, she loves nothing more than learning about new sports.
