Lets think of some latin names for L numbers

I'm sure HH will tell me i've got the endings all wrong, but here goes....

L002 = Panaque reedensis due to the hairyness of the males (ie like Oliver Reed).

LDA33 = Baryancistrus lactopunctatus due to it's milky spots.

L10a = Hemiloricaria haemensis due to it's bloody colouration.

L262 = Hypancistrus ichii due to it looking like it always has ich.

Now i'm sure other people can think of some more imaginative and amusing ones than these..........

I know that you're doing this as a bit of a joke, but in fact it could be a bad thing, because a latin name can not be used if it's previously been used anywhere, so if, for instance, some scientist would come up with the name Baryancistrus Lactopunctatus, it could be disallowed, because you've used it here...

[At least, that's how I've understood it...]

I'd agree with MatsP. This is a dangerous game no matter how much fun it seems (and believe me I'm itching to join in).

Any equally fun game is finding out the meaning of existing names (and submitting them to the catelog....).
