Allan James usually posts some pics on the CSG site. I just couldn't spare the time to get there (7 hours driving) so had to miss it. :-(

marc and I both work at highschools.

despite us having much vacation as a result, it's all fixed, there's no way we can -next to the huge amount of holidays we have- take off other days as well.

unfortunately every single CSG has been planned exactly midway between the holidays......, if this trend continues it'll be forever impossible for us to visit one, ever.

too bad :( :( :(

I have put some show comments in the CSG forum.

It is unfortunate that our events fall when they do in relationship to school term times, but we have to balance around the many other clubs and societies that have shows, because we are a specialist group it is better for us to hold our event at or towards the end of the show season and away from the hassle of the show leagues and where there is less likely to be date clashes. The same goes for our convention, being held in February before the show season gets under way. However it is my intention in the not to distant future, with the committee agreement, to stage an 'Exhibition of Catfish'. At the moment it is just an idea and I shall be working on the dynamics of it over the coming months. One thing is for sure though is that it will take place at a time which allows for maximum potential attendance, which would put it right in the middle of one or other of the main school holidays.
