Are agamyxis social?

Post by rahendricks »

I've had a single agamyxis for some time now. He (she?) spends most of the time hiding in a hollow stump. I understand this is typical because they are nocturnal. I've noticed at the lfs's that when there are multiples in a tank they're always together. My question is are they social, should I be keeping them in groups? Thanks

They're not really social. You usually see them together at the LFS because they are all trying to squeeze into the few suitable hiding spots available.
