Syno. resupinatus sighting

I just seen another one of these guys at Oceans & Seas in Roseville,MI Sunday. Only this thing was about 9"SL, which dwarfs mine by 2" easy. It also had clear eyes, and no other defects that I could see...for the somewhat reasonable price of $40.

I'm not trying to help the store sell it or anything, but I'd be happy to help anyone else that would like a big yellow-green Syno. I really like mine, and so far only one other person here has a resupinatus that I know of.
Now if I had $40 & a 200+gallon tank to put it in, I'd already be trying something silly like I described in my last post about Synodontis...so don't make me go back for it! ;)

Mine cost the equivalent of about $40 U.S. It was not I.D.'d as any species, but with synos I must confess I buy first and try to identify later.

I feel the same way when it comes to almost anything I can't ID, but at least I only take that plunge when I have a darn good idea what's involved w/ the care of it's relatives that I do know about.

More than anything I guess I'm just a sucker for almost any fish that could be described as green...hehe

I have a theory that feeding foods enriched with Spirulina algae brings out the colour in blue or green plecos (L128 and L200). Now I'm trying it on S. resupinatus, using Tetra PlecoMin tablets, since algae wafers aren't easy for a syno to eat.

I'll also have to see if mine likes the veggie flake I just picked up a pound of, and I have little doubt of that!
