Synodontis eupterus??

Post by DeLBoD »

Hi all. having read recent posts it came to attenting that the cat I have may not be what I think it is .
As in S.eupterus has small spots where my syno has large spots and heavy body size.
Any ideas ??.

That's an eupterus alright. If you look at the pics in the Cat-eLog, you will see that there is some variability in the size of the spots. There are some with spots as large as yours.
The stout body, tall dorsal fin and moderately large adipose fin are all a dead giveaway for this species.
