Hi.
Have seen you mention your fry condo's in several posts. Have you got any details of how they are constructed ?

Woops, sorry, I'd totally missed this thread. Dang cookies! Did that post clear it up enough for you? Once you see the concept it's pretty easy to customize it to fit your needs, be it one small box or many.

. I showed them to everyone and now I can't get more!

Yes it was just what I needed, made a few changes and have it sitting on top of the main tank rather than floating in it, that causes it to drain down into the main tank and hopefully will increase the flow through effect a little. I also went with complete foam partitions so i can change sizes etc as needed. Acrylic costs a bomb here so I went with glass.

I use them in anything from a 20 gallon to the 55 gallons. I'd worry a bit about having it above the tank at my house because A: We have a cat, and B: the water temperature would drop more easily. I also wanted to use the air lift to get the water flowing through it, as the purpose was to be able to use a battery operated pump that's tied into the line in case of power outages. I think it's possible you could customize it in infinite ways. I was just happy that I had a friend so handy he could picture exactly what I was wanting and whip it up in a few days ;).
