Synodontis Vellifer
Does anyone know anything about this species? There's one f/s on aquabid, I'm curious.

I guess you want MORE than this, but here's what I've gathered:
1. It's a riverine specie, so not suitable for mixing with Tang's or Malawi's.
2. It grows to around 24cm TL.

The fact that there's no pictures in either Cat-eLog or Fishbase tells me that it's far from a common specie. It may be a good idea to ask some questions regarding it's origin - it should presumably come from the Ivory coast or Ghana.
