Help-Advice Sick L066

Post by grandhorn »

Hi there,

My "baby" L066 Scribbles is sick. We very rarely see her but she came up to the front of the tank this morning asking for help. She has a bad case of popeye which also has a thick grey film over it on one eye only. The other is completely normal. On her head it looks as though she has some patches where there is white on them. But it doesn't look like fungus. It could be where something is "eating" into the body.

Otherwise she has good energy and is keeping her chin up. I have not observed her eating, though. Immediately I transferred to quarantine and am treating with a mixture of Maracyn, Maracyn II and Tetracycline. I know thats quite a bit but we don't to lose the fish.

My paramaters are:

150 gal
78 F
300 ppm Hardness
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 10 ppm
ph - 7.8

All of my other fish are doing well and no signs of illness. Is there anything else I should do or have I missed something obvious?

Thanks everyone!
