breeding/sexing silvertips/columbian sharks

Post by heatherhoge »

Hello,

I have 6 silvertip that I bought all at the same time and same size. They are in brakish and about 10". I have noticed 2 of them are larger have larger pectoral fins with more white on them. Also there is a flap of skin on each of these fins looking like 2 fins together. There anal is larger as well. The other silvertips have normal size pectoral fins and no double flap and all not as plump as the other 2. I am guessing the 2 are females? I wasn't able tofind info on sexing or breeding of these fish. I just found there is no documentation. Any info would be great.

Thanks
