green phantom pleco?

Post by BIGblue »

I saw something labeled green phantom pleco at the LFS. It looks exactly like a L-128, but it was green. Do you think its just a different color variation caused by bad water conditions? The fish was selling for $40 US.

L200 has been sold as green phantom plecos. Could this be what you saw instead?

I agree they're L200. The colour isn't due to poor water conditions. I have one and an L128. Seeing them side by side, they're obviously different.

Your exactly right. They are L-200. Except for the color, they are identical to L-128.

Thanks
