My common Pleco: Will they get on??

Post by funkedupkoalzz »

I have found a potential new home for my common pleco, but the guy I want to give my plec to also has a Snow King plec, a many-rayed, and two others that he hasnt been able to identify. the king plec is 9", my common plec is about 6"... the guy says that all his plecos get on well but I'm scared my boy might not fit in... what do you guys think? oh, and his tank is 36" (3foot), and I'm not sure that's gonna be big enough. The thing is he's the only guy that has offered to take my plec, and I really want him to go to a good home.(and this guy does sound like he knows what he's doing and he has many years of experience keeping fish). my landlord wont let me have a tank any more due to one of them leaking all over the floor and causing quite a bit of damage. :(

any one in here want a common pleco? I will deliver, unless you live way too far away. I'm in Scotland but I dont mind driving to England..

Unfortunately a three foot tank is not large enough for these fish.

Most large LFS's will take "surplus" fish. Ask around. Jools may know of one.

Yeah, there are several fish shops in Edinburgh that may take the fish from you.

Don't expect anything for them mind you. When I worked in fish shops in Edinburgh we got people trying to bring in fish they could no longer care for properly every week.
