Do Petricola's make the squeak that gave some Syno's their common name?
What does it sound like? Bird? Cricket? Squeaky floor?
What causes them to make the noise? Happiness? Terror? Love?

It was the synos. My big decorus would "bawl me out" if I changed more than 25 percent of the water at one time, probably too much change in one of the parameters. She also hollered when handled or netted or if I drained the water to just a few inches as for moving the tank. That sound was like an owl or more maybe a deep throated cricket, if you can imagine such a thing.a7oneal wrote: I would hear what sounded almost like a warble of some kind. I thought it was the Synos, but I never confirmed it.
