what do you do if you forget your password and your registerd e-mail is no longer valid? it has happened to me, matty and I have had to re-register as this user.
help.

You can't do anything.

If you no longer have access to the email address you registered with then we can't fairly and easily identify you as being the same person.

So, the course of action you took was the only one available to you.
