hi there, i recently purchased a group of "neon greens"
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/ca ... /274_F.PHP
from a breeder... i asked the breeder if they can cross breed (ie. green with gold/orange forms) and he said they couldnt. His tank which the greens breed in also house orange and golds.
I looked at the grouwout tank, and there is definate fry of greens and oranges. But no distinctive "MIXS"... could it be possible though?
Need to ease my mind about having possibly bought cross breed fish.
(note: the fish look like greens, but i noticed 2 of the 5 are not as "glowy" as the others)
Can Corydoras sp. cf. aeneus(peru) cross breed?

If there are both males and females of every species, I wouldn't worry too much about cross breeding.
The differences in the brightness I wouldn't worry about either, because in a single population ogfa species you will also find slight differences in colours and markings.
