Hi i've been lurking for a while so thought it was about time to signup :lol: ........

so while im at it does anyone else here own a S. ornatapinnis? i was wondering about lifespan, total size ect.

Welcome to Planet Catfish.

I don't know how long the ornatipinnis lives, but it's a fair guess that it will live for many years, as most other larger Synodontis species will live for more than ten years.

There's a little more information available on fishbase, but nothing dramatically usefull.
