Catfish Reel Question
I have a Shimano Sedona 2500FB spinning reel and I was wondering if it would handle catfishing? What is a good catfishing reel around $40-$50? Thanks guys!

Where will you be fishing and what will you be going after?

Your reel is rated to handle 120 yards of 10 pound line. If you work the drag when necessary it should be fine for average lake catfishing. You could also probably get away with 15-25 pound line (in shorter lengths) if you rig up with one of the hybrid type lines. I have had good luck with Yo-zuri.
