Quick royal Q

Post by T »

Ok this is a kind of strange question but hopefully someone will know what I'm on about.

When small royals are feeding on zuccini do they leave triangular shaped bite marks?(on the outer rind).I still have not seen my baby royal eat anything but wood(which he eats all the time). But lately the slices of zuccini I put in at night have been chewed at, I know its not my mango because he leaves irregular bite marks but latley he has went off the zuccini(preferring sinking pellets)and I put it higher up than he usually goes(on a piece of bogwood). It could also be my clown pl*cos but they usually stay at the other end of the tank.

What do you guys think?

My royal (a juvenile) eats the rind of cucumber. Most of my other plecos eat the centre part.
