Not been thinking much about the fish, this project is like a second job, but hopefully will be moving the fish & tanks i already have into the hut in roughly a months time.

Been fitting the wood trunking for the cables/sockets and will be running the cables, fitting the sockets, strip lights and extractor over the weekend.
Then i just need to run the S.W.A. cable to the meter board and get an electrician to do his bit.

Have you started your fish room yet ?

No start on mine yet. I got some tanks from the local shop (they were refurbing, so I picked up some of their old stock-tanks). They are currently standing in the fish-hut of mine. But I'm still doing up the house so that we can move in - that will hopefully happen in a few weeks time. Today I put the second coat of paint in the front room. Still got another couple of rooms to paint, some floor to put down [and shuffling a whole lot of stuff around so that we can get the floor laid], a bit of plumbing. And loads of little bits that probably can wait until we're in... But it'll probably be several weeks of "fixing things up" before I can actually start on the fish-hut... Looking forward to it tho'.

what did you use to cut the eps insulation please ?

As I want to make some of these

and the tutorial says he used a table saw which I do not have as I don't use them.

A old handsaw cuts the insulation fine, that is what i used.

The benefit of a table saw is that you will end up with a more straight/square cut because you will be using the table saws guide, and if your not used to using a handsaw, it can wander easily when cutting.

The police are going to fly over your fish hut with thermal immaging in a helicopter checing out the large power consumption of your house, see the heat in the shed and try and bust you for growing cannabis..

Ha ha imagine the looks on their faces when they burst in and see rows of fish tanks!

Made a screen door to try and keep the bugs out.

Made sure i have room for more water storage tanks if needed, just now my Jewel 180 fits nicely on the left.

Changed the design of the rack here, to take three tanks, 15" high tanks, so that i can use my current tanks just now.
