Hello :)

Post by XxFa||acyxX »

Well this is my first post here, and of course I'm looking to have my pet pleco Dracula IDed. Right now I've lost my digital camera but I'll give a brief description.

I don't remember exactly where I picked him up from, I think it was a local PetCo. He was advertised (I'm quite sure Dracula is a he due to all the "spikes" on his sides) as a common pleco, is about six and a half inches long currently (he was probably about three inches long when i got him), has a beautiful dorsal fin, is a mix of dark brown and light brown. The thing that I'm curious about is this, correct me if I'm wrong, but common plecos are said to be perfectly fine in the day time. Dracula on the other hand prefers to spend all daylight hours in a cave made of rocks, and only comes out at night once my room light and tank light are turned off. The only time I get to see him without moving the rocks is by the glow of my television.

I'll work on getting a picture ASAP, thankyou to anyone who helps.
