Otos?

Post by mefishy »

I'm thinking of getting an oto for my 5 gallon tank with a male betta. Will an single oto be fine, or would he want a buddy? I've heard otos can be kept by themselves..

Thanks!

Oto's need to be in groups of 3-5 fish, at least - in nature they live in very large groups, 100 fish or so...
