I had to treat some fish with Clout and there were 3 S. multipunctatus in the tank
with the fish I treated and they survived. I just started using Praziquantel because
I feel it's safer. So far I have used it on 4" L260 Queen Arabesque and some Tanganyikan
cichlids with great results. If you use Praziquantel please be careful with the dosage
as 1 gram treats 100 gallons of water (one time treatment). I used .3 grams for a 20
gallon tank which was over the recommended dosage but proved to be safe. I have not
used Praziquantel on Synos but I feel it would be safe, however, don't take my word and
wait for a few more responses.
