Hello everyone
I am looking for some answers on how to treat a disease that attacked my fish population during the previous month. I had many casualties so far including a clownfish and a dolphin (hypophthalmus pangasius) which i loved dearly may they rest in peace.
Now one of the surviving dolphins is ill and i'm trying to save her.
I must note that this is a relatively new tank, about a month old, it ran empty for 2 weeks with plants and later i added some starter fish and cycle solution. I introduced my fish few days later. The elder dolphin felt at home right from the start but the two others were frightened and lost their colors. a few days later i noticed that many fish in my aquarium lost their appetite and later began shivering especially bottom dwellers, they couldn't be still, sort of ticks. Then one of the dolphins lost his appetite and color and later had difficulty swimming, same ticks and shivers. It took only 4 days from outbreak until 80% of my aquarium was dead. I checked water values and they were ok. Now this brave little dolphin hasn't eaten anything for almost a month, tried treatment with general cure and later with tetra medica, no help.
If any one knows the cause or cure i beg you for help, i don't know how long she can hold.
Thank You
Tom

Did you test for ammonia and nitrite? I doubt 2 weeks with plants and a few days with fish was enough time to get your cycle established.
If you can move some gravel, driftwood or filter material to this tank from a healthy, established tank it may solve your problem. If not, water changes.
