I love the corys, they are my favorite fish, i have more or less 10 years with this hobbye-science.

), C. aeneus, C. melanistius, C. leucomelas, C. paleatus, C. arcuatus and other Corydoras that I think are venezolaneus, i try take a picture but they are very frightened. Panaque maccus (again deb

Bienvenidos Jose,
There are many great collecting areas near Valencia. Try the Rio Aragua on the road to Colonia Tovar. Many Chaetostoma and Farlowella acus. If you post photos I can identify your fishes. Check out Ancistrus sp. Rio Chirgua which was collected in Carabobo and A. brevifilis which comes from the Rio Tuy.

Your photo is fine. I'm no expert, but that can't be Ancistrus species.

Looks more like Corydoras or even Brochis,
(you can tell better when the dorsal is erect.)

You're a great addition to the site!

Nice pic.. but please, photograph them when the fish is inside the tank ;)

can you possibly post pics of how a typical riverbank looks like, or post pics of underwater shots so we can gather ideas about how to re-create the original habitat?
