Here are some pictures. I was hoping someone can help me out if it is a female or male and what exacly is the name (scientific) and what size should it get to be. Any other information and advise is welcome. Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me. There are so many different kinds it is hard to tell. All I know he is a good tank mate and a fun fish to watch and take care of. He loves his food and from the reading that you provided I will make more closed caves for him. There is a lot of good hiding spots but most have an opening on the front and back. I may close some of them up to make him feel more comfortable.
